“Indoor air pollution” in homes and offices has been studied
extensively in recent years, with sometimes alarming conclusions, but the health
hazards lurking inside car interiors, where most Americans spend 90
minutes on average each day, have largely gone unnoticed. On January 11,
2006, the Michigan-based Ecology Center released a report entitled:
“Toxic at Any Speed: Chemicals in Cars and the Need for Safe Alternatives.”
In this report, researchers detail how heat and ultraviolet (UV) light can trigger
the release inside cars of a number of chemicals linked to serious health problems.
Chemicals used in cars to soften plastics are the primary culprits. Part of the
seat cushions, armrests, floor coverings and plastic parts in most car interiors
contain chemicals that are easily inhaled or ingested through contact
with dust by drivers and passengers. Conventional car filters can do
little to stop the smallest of the fine particles, the ones most
injurious to human health, from being absorbed into the body by simply
breathing.
Little is done to regulate the use of these chemicals and plastics
in cars; however, something can be done to limit the breathing of the dust that
carries these contaminates. With AirCare2Go you wash the car’s interior
air in a water bath, just like Mother Nature does daily with the air out
doors. Fill the water container with about 5 ounces of water and place
in a cup holder. Plug AirCare2Go into a 12V adapter and you are ready to
clean your car’s air. When the air is washed by the water bath the dust
stays in the water, and fresh water washed air is distributed throughout
the car’s interior. In addition, you can provide the aromatherapy
benefit found most often in 5 star spas by placing a few drops of
essential oils into the water. More and more time is spent commuting in
our cars; isn’t it about time we did something to make the car
environment healthy?
Just add water and an optional essential oil and then simply place the unit in your cup holder and plug in the car adapter to start washing the air inside your car!
The air enters the unit and is washed by the swirling water bath - then the conditioned air is blown back of the unit.
